close windowMaking rice is not at all a difficult task. Some people achieve the things they want in a difficult way which is hard to quantify and describe. Others achieve the things in relatively simpler way. Why some people can do the things in much simpler way and why not others are the questions of debate. There might be several reasons which can be attributed towards that simpler way of doing work. Each individual has his own way to do the work and researches showed that in order to get the maximum output people should work in their very own way.
I saw several people who claim that they don't know how to do a particular work because they never have been shown the way how to do that. I personally feel this is just an excuse of not to explore something. It is not very difficult to find out the way how that works. Cooking is one of the things which most people try to avoid. The only reason why people want to avoid cooking is they don't like that. It is very difficult to find people who don't like food. Any delicious recipe attracts anyone. The reason why I know lots of Asian recipes is not that I had the experience of cooking all those recipes in past. This is more likely due to the interest I have for cooking. There are several recipes which I just invented by myself. If I get a chance I will share that with you all. Most Asian countries have rice as main food during their lunch and dinner. Making rice is the easiest thing to do in kitchen. Don't think everyone knows how to make rice. If you don't know how to make rice then you would have never get into your kitchen.
Making rice is easy, but simultaneously it demands your attention too. You may need to follow few simple tips to get a desire result when you are cooking rice at your home.
First, the idea about what quantity of rice requires how much water to boil is little difficult. You may fail at first time. But you know that practice makes man perfect. So you need to try few times to grab that idea. General thumb rule is that one cup of rice requires one cup of water. Depending upon how you are making rice this measurement may vary little bit.

Mine usually comes out mushy cause it doesn't look done. I've never really taken any out and tasted it. Good tip I'll keep in mind for next time.
